Original single kneeling pew from Paris 1855.

Prie-Dieu donated by the Monastery of Chalons and coming from the chapel on Rue des Ursulines in Paris, following the 1855 fire. That's the best we can make of the label fixed to the base and written in French. It must be much older than 1855 and worth documenting and saving. Made from Pitch Pine and well worn where it has been prayed on and knelt on for over a century. A very special item needing a good home where it carries on. Now priced at £100 inc vat.
