Matching pair of 'His & Hers' traditional burgundy leather armchairs with solid wooden frames, turned legs, front castors, buttoned backs and brass stud detailing. The gentleman's chair being wider and more generously proportioned than the ladies chair. These are substantial, characterful chairs with a lovely classic library or fireside style. The leather has developed a rich aged patina, and the wooden frames have attractive turned detailing. Both chairs show considerable age-related wear. The leather is faded and cracked in places. They would benefit from professional leather restoration or full reupholstery, making them an ideal project for an upholsterer, interior designer or someone creating a traditional country-house look.
