Set of 6 neoclassical chairs newly upholstered

Beautiful set of six antique neoclassical dining chairs in warm polished wood, with elegant curved backs, carved central detailing, decorative scrolls and turned front legs. The chairs have been professionally reupholstered in a lovely pale blue/grey and soft gold striped fabric. The upholstery and seat pads are in immaculate condition and have had very little use since being recovered. The chairs themselves are in lovely antique condition, retaining their original character and patina. Five are in excellent structural condition. One chair has a small loose section to the upper part of the back, which is photographed and should be a straightforward minor repair. A really handsome and unusual set of six chairs which would look equally lovely with an antique or contemporary dining table. £600 for the set of six. Collection from Helens Bay, County Down.
