USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53), an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer in the United States Navy.  autograph by Jim Stavridis, who was the Captain of the USS Barry (DDG 52).  The USS Barry (DDG 52) is the fourth United States Navy ship named after Commodore John Barry, considered the "Father of the American Navy".  Commissioned in 1992, the USS Barry is an Aegis guided-missile destroyer known for its advanced capabilities.  Admiral James Stavridis is a retired four-star admiral in the U.S. Navy and a prominent author and speaker on global security issues.
