Pair of Large Ornate Brass Chandeliers – Brookeborough / Colebrooke Park Provenance Beautiful pair of large brass chandeliers, richly cast with scroll arms, acanthus leaves, floral decoration and a highly decorative central body. Very impressive country-house pieces, currently wired and shown lit. Purchased from Nolan Antiques, Francis Street, Dublin, with provenance that they came from the Brookeborough family of Colebrooke Park, Co. Fermanagh. Lord Brookeborough, Basil Brooke, was Prime Minister of Northern Ireland from 1943 to 1963. The contents of Colebrooke Park were dispersed following financial and death-duty pressures on the estate.
