"The Priest Reading" c1850 EX-Archdiocese of Dublin -102 cm W x 127 cm H framed 19th Century oil on canvas of "The Priest Reading" in a decorative gilt frame, no visible signature etc. Size wise it’s 102 cm W x 127 cm H framed. Canvas size is 100.5cm x 76cm. Provenance: Archdiocese of Dublin , Subject unknown. Evidence of an earlier Brass name plate (now absent) , note: wear to frame. Canvas varnished overall. Evidence of much earlier repairs to the reverse of the Canvas. Overall condition good otherwise and tight on the frame. However sits loose on the larger outer Gilt frame.
