French decorative bowl made of lead crystal by the Vannes-le-Châtel factory (often branded as Art Vannes France). It is a classic example of post-war mid-century modern design, characterized by an organic, flowing form reminiscent of a splash of water or a star. The Vannes-le-Châtel glassworks was founded in 1765, but production of the luxurious lead crystal for which this bowl is known began in 1963. Large, heavy glass model. Impressive art glass from the middle of the last century. Glass of this size from this French manufacturer reaches prices of around 1,000 euros at auctions (see the last photo).
