Victorian Aesthetic Movement Hall Chair.

Decorative Victorian hall or occasional chair in walnut, dating from the Aesthetic Movement period, circa 1880–1900. Featuring a finely carved pierced back with floral and foliate decoration, rope-twist detailing, ebonised panels and contrasting inlay. The shaped seat has its original decorative inlaid design, supported on carved cabriole legs. 95cm high x 46cm wide x 46cm deep. Seat height 45cm. Good antique condition with age-related wear and patina consistent with its age.
