Late 19th-century (c. 1880s) fireplace companion tool set.(Fireguard not included) Crafted from heavy forged iron with dark brass finial handles.The set features a "tulip" or stylized fleur-de-lis shovel, which is a classic hallmark of the Aesthetic Movement design era. Included in the set 1x Fireplace Poker 1x Log Tongs (with classic rounded scissor hinge) 1x Decorative Ash Shovel 1x Hearth Brush (with original bristles intact)Condition: Excellent antique condition. Heavy, solid, and fully functional. They feature a beautiful, naturally aged dark patina that gives them fantastic historic character. Missing the original floor stand.
