A superb example of mid-19th century craftsmanship, this antique Victorian settee (or small sofa) showcases all the defining features of the period: 🌿 Beautifully carved mahogany frame with serpentine lines and scrollwork, especially notable in the crest rail and arms. 🌿 Original floral tapestry upholstery in olive green with rose, beige, and pastel floral patterns. The dense weave and minor thread wear suggest authentic age. 🌿 Stands on turned bun feet, typical of the 1850s–1870s Victorian design. 🌿 The settee is quite heavy, which is characteristic of solid mahogany furniture from the era.
