Thos is a Victorian Rococo Revival sofa from the mid-to-late 19th century (circa 1850–1880). The leg features an elegant, classic S-shaped curve (cabriole) that tapers down toward the foot, a signature element of French-influenced Louis XV and Rococo Revival styles popular during the Victorian The hand-carved floral motif (featuring two distinct blossoms and trailing leaves) embedded into the knee and shin of the leg adds the "lavish flair" characteristic of the period.
