Vintage American Dome-Top Steamer Trunk / Storage

Beautiful antique dome-top steamer trunk from the United States, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (c.1880–1920). This classic travel trunk features a curved “humpback” lid, wood slat framing, and decorative metal panels and corner fittings, typical of trunks used for long journeys by train and steamship. These trunks were designed to protect belongings during travel and today make wonderful decorative storage pieces. The trunk has a great aged patina with original metalwork and wooden slats, very heavy duty and well made.
