Vintage fan-shaped vase with three openings

A vintage fan-shaped vase with a triple opening, crafted from ceramic and finished with an iridescent, cobalt-colored glaze (a "lustre" or "carnival ware" effect) and gilded rims. Vessels of this type—featuring geometric, faceted relief patterns (resembling the texture of a pineapple or scales) and a tripartite top—were popular during the Art Deco era and the post-war period (the 1950s and 1960s). Similar forms and this characteristic iridescent glaze can be found, for example, in pieces by the British manufacturer Sadler, as well as in post-war Italian ceramics.
