Vintage Heavy Cast Iron Miniature Horse Collection

Shipping available Collection of vintage miniature cast-iron horse figures Unusual collection of approximately 15 heavy cast-iron/metal miniature horses, each individually modelled in a different pose. Several of the horses have distinctive inset bone/ivory-coloured eyes, giving them a particularly unusual antique appearance. The collection includes standing, grazing, running and rearing horses in a variety of styles and sizes. They have a lovely dark aged finish/patina and are substantially made and surprisingly heavy for their size. These appear to be older decorative/collectable pieces rather than modern lightweight ornaments. I have not found a maker’s mark, so I am selling them as vintage/antique-style cast-iron horse figures rather than attributing them to a particular manufacturer or period. Condition: Vintage condition with age-related wear and patina. Please see photographs for individual condition.
