Charming animal-head ceramic handle with hand-painted detailing and original natural-fibre bristles. An unusual vintage Japanese export piece with plenty of character. The brush is in original vintage condition with age-related wear, discoloration and wear to the bristles, all visible in the photographs. I have left it in its original condition rather than attempting to restore it. A lovely collectible for anyone interested in Japanese ceramics, vintage household items or unusual decorative pieces.
