The carbon black colour adds a touch of elegance to any room. Beautiful speakers. Sad to see them go but they are just overkill after downsizing. These speakers go very loud without distorting at all. I have mainly used them with HD music sourced from Qobuz or my NAS, both via Roon. Crystal clear with classical, but surprisingly weighty bass for pop/rock or even EDM. They also make a superb improvement to any TV sound, with HDMI input a great option. The two speakers communicate well with each other via WiFi but they do like a reliable WiFi connection. If your WiFi is flaky, I suggest you use the included cable to connect the two speakers, or improve your WiFi. These speakers were basically immaculate until today, when I packed them ready for sale. They are very heavy and, despite trying to be very careful, I must have somehow caught the driver on the secondary speaker. Aargh! Although the damage is obviously only cosmetic, once I noticed it, I set them back up to check the sound. No effect on the sound quality, which is still superb. See photos.
