Linn Active System

3 x Linn Lk100 amplifiers fitted ( by dealer) with active cards. Main capacitors in each amp replaced in November as precautionary measure. Amps have been well cared for and are in very good cosmetic condition. They were built to last and are working perfectly. Linn Keilidh loudspeakers on Kustone bases also converted by dealer to active mode. The Keilidh speakers were always well regarded but operating in active mode they are elevated to another level entirely. The speakers are in fantastic cosmetic condition considering their age and are working perfectly. They do not have front grilles. With one dedicated amplifier channel for each driver, this set up will outperform many current setups costing many times more. Also included are 3 power cables , 2 x 1.8m terminated lengths of Linn K600 tri-wire speaker cable and 3 pairs of Linn ' black ' interconnects. All that's required for a full LINN ACTIVE set up is a preamp or integrated amp/streamer with a pre-out. Please note that these components only work together as a set and cannot be used with other equipment set up in 'passive' mode. However any preamp can be utilised . It does not need to be a Linn preamplifier. This amp/speaker combo has given me endless hours of enjoyment and I'm reluctantly selling due to recent upgrade. No original boxes unfortunately so pick up preferred.
