Rega Planar 3 50th Anniversary Turntable

For sale is my Rega Planar 3 50th Anniversary Turntable with Neo PSU Mk 2 power unit. This turntable was specially designed and manufactured by Rega to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2023. There are several factory upgrades with this deck that raise it above the standard Planar 3. They are... The Neo PSU Mk2, which is hand-tuned to this turntable and not only offers a separate power supply but also push button changing between 33 and 45 rpm. The regular Planar 3 needs you to remove the platter and manually alter the speed. A factory fitted Rega Exact cartridge. Upgraded Reference EBLT drive belt. A custom CNC aluminium drive pulley as found on the Planar 6. A walnut finish plinth with exclusive 50th anniversary badging. Smoked finish dust cover. The turntable is in as-new condition. The cartridge and stylus are barely played-in and have a long life ahead. The dust cover is completely free of scratches, has never been dropped. The turntable has a lovely 12mm float glass platter and the original rega slip mat. Included is the turntable and the matching NEO PSU, and the original packaging. The current standard Planar 3 with the standard cartridge is €930 WITHOUT the NEO PSU which sells separately for €300. Along with the other included upgrades here this set is priced to sell at €900. I am happy to demo the turntable at my home, it is a huge upgrade in sound quality from the Planar 1, Planar 2 or Project Eco type alternatives.
