Vintage Nordmende Radiogram record player

Vintage Nordmende radiogram with built-in record player and radio, housed in a lovely mid-century wooden cabinet with slatted speaker fronts and tapered legs. A great original piece for someone interested in vintage audio, retro interiors or restoration. The record player mechanism is working but needs a new needle/stylus. The radio works intermittently / reception is patchy, and the speaker is currently not working, so it is being sold as a restoration project rather than as fully working equipment. The wooden cabinet is structurally sound but has quite a bit of age-related wear, particularly to the top, including scratches, marks and areas where the original finish has worn away. It would look fantastic refinished while retaining the original Nordmende features. Approximate dimensions from the measurements shown: 140 cm wide × 45 cm deep. The hinged centre lid opens to reveal the original turntable and radio controls. Original Nordmende badges are still present. Condition: Used/vintage – restoration required Collection only Salthill area Could make a really striking mid-century statement piece once restored.
