Vintage SABA 9241 Digital Monster Receiver

Selling a legendary piece of German audio engineering – the SABA 9241 Digital Stereo Receiver (late 1970s). Known as a "Monster Receiver" due to its massive build quality, huge power reserves, and excellent warm sound. Condition & Testing: Cosmetics: In very good vintage condition. The aluminum faceplate is clean, and all original knobs/switches are present. Minor signs of age on the top cover, but overall looks beautiful. Amplifier & Radio: Fully tested. Powers on perfectly, the protection relay clicks exactly as it should. The FM tuner is excellent – it easily catches stations in Stereo. The sound output is powerful, clean, and equal on both left and right channels. The digital frequency counter and analog meters light up and work nicely. Controls: Volume, balance, and tone controls move smoothly. Untested Inputs: Please note, while the radio works flawlessly, I currently do not have a working turntable stylus or CDs to fully test the Phono/Tape/Aux inputs with actual media. However, given the perfect operation of the main amplifier section, they are highly likely to be fine. Sold as mostly tested.
