Vintage 1950s Mahogany Dresser

This 1950s Dresser has been stripped of its old, outdated and failing finish and been brought into a more appealing modern, dark and moody vibe. The drawers and top have been sanded back to reveal stunning woodgrain and stained a darker colour to tone down the natural red tones of mahogany wood and topcoated in hard wax oil for durability and protection. The body of the piece has been painted in a Matt black that complements the wood tone beautifully. The old outdated base has been removed and replaced with solid wood turned legs. Each drawer has been fitted with bronze traditional style hardware and are constructed of solid mahogany throughout, they have been coated in hard wax oil to showcase the stunning wood grain and feature dovetail joinery. This piece is constructed of solid mahogany throughout ( not veneer ) and features dove tail on all joints, making this piece an extremely solid piece.
