Inherited in a house move: a striking vintage mid-century bedroom suite comprising a full-width headboard with padded red upholstery and two integrated bedside units for a king size bed. Crafted in the warm wood tones typical of G Plan and similar 1960s/70s British makers, this piece includes practical storage. Features: -Full-width sculpted headboard with red upholstered panel -Twin pedestal units with open shelving and deep drawers -Original brass-effect drop handles -Solid and heavy construction – built to last -Fits a king-size mattress inside the frame -Back lighting via two strip lights, both working Dimensions: -Internal bed width: 160 cm -Overall external width: 262 cm -Height: 122 cm Condition: Structurally very solid. Some light surface wear on the shelves and veneer consistent with age, but overall presents well. Upholstery intact but needs a deep clean or replacement. I had rotated stain to be covered by mattress. A rare, statement mid-century piece ideal for retro interiors or restoration. Can be easily disassembled into 3 sections for transport.
