Period: mid-to-late Victorian, approximately 1860–1880 * Style: Victorian, with strong Rococo/late Regency influences * Wood: mahogany, possibly solid mahogany with some veneered elements * Mirror: Original-style oval swing/tilting mirror * Supports: Elaborately carved scroll/volute supports * Base: Shaped or serpentine mahogany platform * Two oval sections: hinged trinket/jewellery compartments, a feature found on higher-quality Victorian dressing mirrors.
