Are you a busy dairy farmer heading into a hectic calving season? Do you want to hold your calves on to reach full market value potential but lack space and time? Coming into the end of summer/autumn, we are aiming to partner with a very small number of local farmers offering you an affordable bed & breakfast calve rearing contract, freeing up your labour, time and farm space. Clean, small batch, non contact pens available, deeply bedded daily with barley straw. Hand reared with individually tanked milk feeders to ensure feed intake can be visually checked and monitored to your specification. No sharing of teats to limit disease. High health & welfare standards and a personal service ensuring immediate health intervention as required. Medical recording as standard. Affordable daily rate per calve/monthly pen rental rate available on request. No mixing of stock or overstocking. Site located between Ballymena/Ballymoney. Disease free. Winter accommodation & quality silage also available for the right partner. Transport to market available on request.
