Belfair bull calves

2 Belfair bull calves for sale. Born 17/03/26 & 02/04/26 Fully weaned, outside and trained to electric fence. Well socialised as bottle reared but not fussed to make pets. Not squeezed yet so suitable for either beef, or using as a teaser bull. Will do a deal for the two. Belfair cattle are an F1 (1st generation) cross from a Dexter bull and a Jersey cow. Popular in the US with homesteaders as like their Dexter sires, they make good use of marginal ground. They are hardy and like Dexters can finish well on good grass only. Belfair grow faster than purebred Dexters - reducing the cost of inputs. Although slightly taller than Dexters they usually finish around 22-24 months with a hanging weight of approx 270kg and a good meat-to-bone ratio.
