Native Forests (FT1): Forests featuring native species like oak, birch, and holly, adapted to local soil conditions such as Podzols and Brown Podzolics Diverse Broadleaf (FT6 & 7): Forests planted with a variety of acceptable broadleaf species, not including oak and beech, with the goal of producing high-quality hardwood timber Emergent Forest and Re-wilding (FT5): A type of forest creation focused on establishing forest canopies and promoting natural ecological processes and biodiversity. Multipurpose and Agricultural Forest Types: Agroforestry (FT8): A system where trees are integrated with agricultural activities, allowing for both timber and food production from the same land Continuous Cover Forestry (CCF) (FT10): A management approach where trees are kept in a forest continuously, rather than clear-felling, and can be integrated with other forest types.
