The bike has mainly been used for commuting to and from work and has been a fantastic, reliable bike throughout my ownership. It remains lightweight, responsive and very comfortable to ride thanks to its full carbon fibre frame and carbon forks. It is fitted with a Shimano 105 groupset with 20 gears, providing smooth and dependable shifting, along with Mavic Aksium wheels. The bike also comes fitted with quill pedals and a rear mudguard, making it ready to ride and particularly well suited for commuting, training rides or weekend spins. When launched, the Boardman Team Carbon received excellent reviews and was widely regarded as one of the best value carbon road bikes available. It combines the comfort of a carbon frame with responsive handling and impressive performance. The bike accelerates quickly, climbs well and remains stable and confidence inspiring at speed.
