For road, gravel, grass, sand, cyclocross etc. - 20 inch wheel bike. -This bike can be used on the road (slick tyres & spare tubes included), or on grass, gravel, mud, sand etc. using the tyres on the bike at present). -Frog are the only manufacturer of drop bar style bikes with 20 inch wheels, so this is what you need to get your child started on a drop bar bike early. Website says suitable for kids age 6 - 7 with a recommended inside leg of 52cm-63cm. Will fit many 7-9 year olds however. I can do a video call with you and show the bike before meeting if you prefer. -Some kids cycling clubs are doing cyclocross training at the moment, with races for kids ages 6 and up happening at present.
