CLASSIC 1995 MTRAX Ti 1000 MTB - XTR/XT SPEC>

This is a superb piece of classic MTB engineering. I bought this in 1998 and have gradually improved the specification from the original. The derailleurs are original XT series before Shimano introduced XTR. The cranks, brakes and levers are all XT fitted in 1999. The wheels are 1999 Campagnolo K2 rims laced to XTR hubs, with stainless steel spokes. The handlebar is original titanium alloy. At this time, an FFS ORBIT XLII headset was fitted, together with ITM seat post and WTB saddle. The bike was stored not used until 2016 when the rear cassette was converted from 7 to 9 sprockets. Cassette, pulley wheels, derailleur arms and chain are all XT. The BBB steerer extension was fitted around 2020 together with Continental 26 x1,9 Twister tyres and Specialised inner tubes. A full set of XTR control cables were fitted at this time. The frame size is 45cm - 556 top tube. The bike has not been ridden more than a few miles since I have owned it, but there is some cosmetic damage to paintwork due to the previous owner. All Shimano manuals are included, together with the special crank tool, cassette tool, etc. Buyer collects.
