RUFF CYCLES HARD TIME — CUSTOM BUILD — €1,695 For sale: one extremely unnecessary bicycle. Built in 2020 and ridden waay less than it deserves. This is a custom RUFF Cycles Hard Time, built from the frame up because apparently buying a normal bicycle wasn't an option for me. Finished in a gorgeous deep metallic orange powder coat done by Tallagh powder coating, and sitting on enormous 26" wheels with 60mm front and 80mm rear rubber, it has the stance of a custom motorcycle that accidentally got pedals instead of a V-twin. The specification includes: - RUFF Cycles Hard Time frame - 26" wheels - Approx. 60mm front / 80mm rear rims - Fat cream-coloured tyres - Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal hub - Rear coaster brake - Shimano disc brake up front - Tall chrome ape-hanger bars - Custom Box Kars suicide shifter - Reverse brake lever - Hidden cabling for that lovely clean look - Gorgeous sprung saddle - Chrome rims and plenty of shiny bits - Professional powder-coated frame And yeah, I went with a suicide shifter because apparently reaching for a normal gear lever wasn't sufficiently entertaining for me. This thing is long, low, fat and completely impractical in exactly the right way. This thing is NOT for rough roads. It does not like speed bumps. This thing is for cruising all day on paved routes like greenways breaking necks as you go. It attracts attention without making any noise, doesnt need petrol or insurance. I've kept it because I love it. I'm selling it because I have finally accepted the uncomfortable truth that owning this spectacular bicycle and actually riding this spectacular bicycle where I live are two entirely different things. It has spent considerably more time being admired than being ridden. The frame was powder coated when built and the bike has been very lightly used since.
