Narrow tyres have been selected for this model featuring a modern small block tread pattern making the wheels slimmer and lighter than the majority of the other children's bikes on the market. These tyres are suitable for riding on all terrains including traffic free paths, roads and light trails. The Aluminium frame with oversized hydro formed tubes results in a strong lightweight frame which is easy to manoeuvre and exceptionally durable. Low rise handlebars help to promote a good riding position and ensure children are more aware of their surroundings. Plus we’ve included grips made from a softer dual compound for quality and comfort. Aluminium V-brakes have been added to the Zero for safe stopping plus a V-brake modulator regulates the force applied to the front brake resulting in smoother stopping and helping to prevent accidents. The aluminium and resin brake levers featured on the bike have been selected to be easily operated by little fingers, and are adjustable allowing you to alter them dependent on the size of your child’s hands. Safety is a key concern when designing our children’s bikes and all components are designed to make riding as safe as possible for your child. Aluminium wheel rims have been added to provide an improved surface for the brake blocks to brake against plus Raleigh’s special junior non-slip pedals have been fitted featuring rubber pads to prevent feet slipping off. We focus on every detail of design when it comes to our children’s bikes, and the Zero is no exception; with graphics applied under a clear lacquer to ensure they won’t fade or become damaged over time.
