It’s the perfect bike for anyone doing both triathlon and road cycling or wants to do an odd Tri but not have two bikes, very easy to switch between the two or use solely for one discipline. I’ve used it for both over the years and it’s been absolutely solid, the two-way flip top seat post really give the perfect body position in both categories. Bought new from Base2Race in 2016 for €5500, and I’ve got the proof of purchase to show. Genuine sale – I’ve moved on from triathlon and picked up a new road bike, so this one’s ready for its next home. Specs: Ultegra Di2 11-speed (52-36) with 165mm crank, shifting is smooth and reliable. New Di2 battery fitted last year, good for another 5–6 years at least. Fulcrum ETRTO aluminium wheels with 26mm Continental GP5000 tyres. TRP aero brakes with SwissStop pads Zipp handlebar and stem 110mm, Prologo saddle, and Profile Design clip-on TT bars with Shamino shifters included. TT clip on Di2 shifters are wired to the junction box under the handlebars by plugging in, simple, so you can shift from both the drops and TT bars depending on your position – ideal setup for triathlons.
