He's 74 and a careful rider who has only ever used it on flat, open roads and bike paths — never off-road, never as an actual mountain bike. Bought new in August 2024, it's covered 420km since then, ridden occasionally at regular intervals but short distances, and the bike has been serviced periodically by the original Trek dealer in Dublin. Because all of that riding has been on tarmac and cycle paths, the frame, suspension and drivetrain show none of the trail wear, rock strikes or impact damage you'd expect on a used e-MTB — genuinely excellent condition.
