Tame cockatiel

Tame cockatiel in need of a new home. He's very friendly when he gets to know you and even has a couple of words. He needs a knowledgeable home. I won't be letting him go to anyone who doesn't know how to care for him. The right environment and nutrition are essential. He needs to be the only bird in the environment. The vet believes he's too imprinted on humans to understand he's a bird and therefore doesn't understand other birds. This causes him and any other bird massive stress. He is used to dogs being around as long as they can't get at him and aren't threatening. He's currently in Bantry in west cork. I'm not in a position to be delivering. I care for my husband who has a serious brain injury and is very disabled. There's no point contacting me unless you're genuinely in a position to give him a knowledgeable permanent home and you're able to come for him. If not please don't waste my time.
