The galley is fitted with a cool box built & storage for cutlery & plates etc. The two-burner cooker is gimble-mounted and can be locked into position. The main saloon seating converts to a double bunk on the starboard side & a single to port. At the aft end (to starboard) is a pilot quarter berth which is spacious for one or cozy for 2!The saloon table folds away to the bulkhead leaving a spacious, uncluttered area. Forward double cabin - opening hatch & lots of stowage. The foredeck provides a safe area for sail handling & anchoring, - wide side decks are easy to navigate. “Piper” is a well-preserved,8 must loved example of a Moody 29. providing safe, comfortable cruising single and double handed. Main Sail lazy jacks, 2 reefing points on the main sail, genoa on a Furlex plus a cruising chute. Sail setup makes sailing with a small crew very easy. 2019 & 2023 Survey available 2012 – Beta 28hp inboard diesel engine. 2017 - All standing rigging replaced by Masts and Rigging Ireland Ltd 2020 – Cutlass bearing replaced. 2020 – New transom hung rudder & tiller installed 2021 – 4 man life raft serviced. 2021 - B&G Triton2 Speed, Depth & Wind installed - 2 digital displays 2021 – Mast head VHF Antenna cable and aerial replaced 2021 – Mast electric cabling replaced - all mast lights. New mast head tri light 2022 – New 2.4 Yamaha outboard. Installed Solar Panel system. Spray hood track replaced & restitched. 2023- Replaced UV strip on Foresail,Serviced engine, New kitchen tap and drainpipe. Designed by Angus Primrose, the Moody 29 is a remarkably solid & spacious yacht , with a beamy, deep bodied hull. Accommodation is 6 berth in two cabins - separate heads & wash basin. Ample stowage & a spacious cockpit. Used for family cruising - Wales, Isle of Man, Carlingford, Waterford & Cork/Kinsale.
