Aquafibre 42 Mk1 Centre Cockpit – Liveaboard / Cruiser Spacious and versatile Aquafibre 42 foot motor cruiser, ideal as a comfortable liveaboard while remaining low and shallow enough for the Irish canal network, yet capable on the River Shannon and lakes. Completed the Green & Silver route in 2013, proving its inland cruising ability. Constructed in GRP, the boat has undergone a major refurbishment over the past 4 years, taken back to the bare hull. The sliding roof was removed and refurbished in 2022. All freshwater plumbing and 12V electrics were fully renewed in 2024, including a central fused switch panel and shore power installation. 3-cabin layout with forward double cabin, large single cabin (currently used as an office), and aft single cabin. Both upper and lower saloon seating convert to doubles, providing up to 8 berths. Two heads (forward and aft) plus a separate shower room (currently used as storage). Fully equipped with a new 2-ring gas hob, oven & grill, and a brand-new 12V Vitrifrigo fridge/freezer. Ample storage for extended cruising or liveaboard use. Insulated to the waterline. Heated by two recently installed Autoterm diesel heaters (one app-controlled). 900L freshwater capacity in two stainless tanks, plus ~300L hot water via calorifier and immersion heater, supplying full hot and cold water throughout. Centre cockpit with excellent visibility. Opening roof over saloon/helm creates a large sheltered outdoor seating area. Single Tempest Commander (BMC 2.2) 50hp diesel engine with PRM Newage gearbox (2:1). Serviced end of 2025. Cutlass bearing and 3-blade prop refurbished in 2024. Fitted with Vetus 12V bow thruster.
