COBRA 750 Refurbished Sailing Cruiser

Cobra 750 'Great Expectations II' for sale due to the purchase of a new boat. A fully restored 1980 Cobra 750 sailing cruiser in excellent condition. It is a very comfortable boat with many recent additions that enables great sea going trips, the boat is remarkable on the water due to her beam and has many trips in the Irish sea in recent years. The boat had a full rebuild and refurbishment in 2021 with the following replaced or upgraded: Brand new Yanmar 2YM15 engine installed (currently 187 hours running time), with plenty of power for this size of boat enabling comfortable and dependable cruising. Extremely reliable 2 cylinder 15 horsepower diesel engine that starts on the button all of the time. All rigging professionally replaced by Masts and Rigging. A new Mainsail with lazy bag and a new furling Headsail fitted along with all lines and halyards replaced. The Hull was shot blasted epoxy coated, primed and anti-fouled and the topsides repainted in a matt gray. All through hull shut off valves were replaced with 'Tru Design thru-hulls and sea-cocks'. The boat's interior was refreshed in 2022 including new cabin headlining. Spacious Galley with Plastimo twin hob gas oven/grill, mini fridge and sink. The boat's 12 volt electrics were replaced with new LED cabin lights and LED exterior navigation lights, VHF radio and stereo radio with blue-tooth connection. Bluetooth fully functioning Clipper speed, depth and wind direction gauges Bulkhead compass Garmin Chartplotter Heads compartment has a new manual pumping sea toilet fitted in 2022 along with a separate wash hand basin and fresh water tap. 125 litre freshwater tank The boat has just been anti-fouled and Anodes replaced and the engine serviced so it's ready for the 2024 Sailing season.
