The Dandy was produced by Dawncraft Ltd, a prolific British boatbuilder based in Kinver, Staffordshire, during the 1960s and 70s. Dawncraft was a pioneer in the transition from wooden to fiberglass (GRP) construction, becoming one of the most successful manufacturers of canal and river cruisers in the UK. The Dandy was designed specifically to offer a compact yet capable vessel that could navigate the narrowest parts of inland waterway system. This boat was repainted in 2023. The boat can sleep 2 people and features a gas cooker, sink, water boiler, chemical toilet, Honda 15hp outboard, 2 sets of 3 pin plugs, trailer and electrical socket on outside . Also included are 3 life jackets, swimming ladder, solar panel, 10kg anchor, 2 leisure batteries, life ring and two marine fuel tanks.
