Galway Bay Powerboat Run 13/09/2025

Galway Bay Powerboat Run in aid of RNLI will take place on Saturday 13/09/2025 with all boating enthusiasts invited to participate. The Run will capture the scenic and saught after Galway Bay, Cliffs of Moher, Inis Oírr & Inis Mór before retuning to Galway docks later that evening. A family fun filled day out with the additional opportunity view Galway Inshore lifeboat station prior to departing. Where members of the RNLI team will meet guests and visitors alike. Local knowledge and guidance will be provided over the day consisting of about 70NM. The Aran islands lifeboat crew and the majestic Severn class lifeboat will greet the run in the Aran Islands and invite members of the public to view the lifeboat and station in Inis Mór. A safe, fun packed & exhilarating day awaits all participants. Departs Galway Docks at 10:30am. Approx return time 18:00pm Full parking and suitable slipway available adjacent to Galway Ocean Sports Club. Please arrive in advance and allow sufficient time.
