For Sale reluctantly due to a change in circumstances. 1975 Van de Stadt Splinter 21 fin keel day sailer with a very rare Junk Rig. This actual boat was featured in Practical Boat Owner ( search Amiina Boat junk rig) comparing junk and Bermuda rigs. This Rig is a revolutionary split junk rig giving good performance. Ideal for single handed sailing with single line control and very smooth and safe sailing. The hull got an overhaul this year, stripped back and repainted above and below the waterline. Comes with a good Mercury 3.5hp saildrive 4 stroke outboard. Interior is basic with 2 berths, interior lights and small table top, camping stove and space for chemical toilet. All the usual with it ie. Anchor chain ropes, fenders, compass. No electronics to speak of other than depth gauge. A trailer can be arranged by separate negotiation Boat is currently on a mooring in Youghal harbour.
