Marine Radio Courses - 4 courses

VHF (SRC) courses (Fri evening, all day Sat): SRC - Dublin (Port) - 26-27 April 2024 VHF (SRC) course (midweek) SRC - Dublin (Port) - 28-29 May 2024 SRC (Short Range Certificate) is the course you need to legally operate a handheld radio or a fixed VHF on your leisure boat. This qualification is also necessary to obtain the MMSI code that enables digital distress transmissions from your boat. The SRC costs just €285. The course is held over one evening and a full day. Online preparation is done before the course starts. We also offer the following more advanced marine radio courses: GOC - Dublin (Port), 14 - 24 Aug 2024 ROC - Dublin (Port), 21 - 24 Apr 2024 LRC - Dublin (Port), 21 - 24 Apr 2024. ROC (Restricted Operator Certificate) and GOC (General Operator Certificate) are SOLAS-compliant courses for professional seafarers. LRC is for offshore sailors and trans-Atlantic yacht crews.
