Prelude 19 by Rydgeway Marine Restored & Modified

One of a kind Prelude 19 originally designed by Ian Proctor R.D.I., F.S.I.A., Southampton, and built by Ridgeway Marine Ltd., Suffolk. This boat has been rescued from neglect, has been stripped, modified and restored to a very high standard by current owner as a winter project. This Prelude has been modified from its original sail boat to become a versatile motorcruiser. It's length overall is 19ft3in and beam is 6ft10in. Because of modification and restoration it now has a very small draft (less than 2ft) as can be seen in the pictures. Inside the spacious cabin are 4 berths that have been freshly reupholstered. The cabin has been sealed and painted with the windows replaced and trim upgraded to stainless steel. The bow roller has been replaced in stainless steel also. Engine is a Yamaha 8CEM (8hp) long shaft 2 stroke tiller handle that was purchased specially for this project. It's serviced up to date and has only been in use in freshwater. This Yamaha is an electric start engine, with 10 litre fuel tank and a WhaleTale added to increase efficiency and handling. The gunwale has been replaced with solid teak all around and finished with high quality marine varnish. Boat comes with its own trailer making it very easy to transport, launch and recover. The hull has been freshly painted in striking orange and is antifouled below the water line. The deck has been done in white and sky blue. Boat needs a little finishing such as a marine radio and navigation lights but is fully water ready besides this. Price reflects these small works. It is ideally suited for inshore waterways or coastal cruising. Perfect starter boat for somebody. Serious offers will be considered. Viewings and inspections are welcome.
