Bruce Roberts Waverunner 38 (1996) – 3 cabins / 8 berths – dual helm – steel displacement cruiser Coole Lady is an exceptionally well maintained 38ft steel family cruiser with 3 cabins, 2 heads with showers, and dual hydraulic steering from the saloon and flybridge. Originally a hire cruiser on Lough Derg, she was purchased by the current owners in 2015 and has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment inside and out. A 2009 Nanni 3.3L turbo diesel (87 hp) on shaft provides reliable, economical propulsion, assisted by a Vetus bow thruster for easy close quarters handling. Heating is via Eberspächer diesel air heating plus a charming “Little Grizzly” solid fuel stove. Refits and upgrades include: rear deck reflooring (2022) with built in seating/furniture (2023) and new cushions (2024); canopy window renewals (2023); flybridge table and reupholstered helm seat (2024); both heads refitted (2023) with Sani Marin/Jabsco toilets and Whale Gulper pumps; full battery replacement (2022); electrical system (2016) with charger and galvanic isolator; calorifier upgrade with 1 kW immersion (2022), new freshwater pump and tank refurb (2024); turbo system reconditioned (2022); plus numerous detail improvements (wiper blades, storage drawers, TV aerial, etc.).
