ZapCat Gemini Z-10 with Tohatsu 50 -Fully rigged

Originally designed for surf rescue these ZapCats have proven to be extremely versatile. The can operate in everything from about 12 inches of water up to breaking surf. It's a super stable platform for fishing, photography, coaching, rescue etc but can get up to over 30 knots in seconds. Turns heads! I've used it for coastal and river exploration, fishing and as a camera platform to cover races. It can also tow toys like tubes and wake boards. Use it solo or with up to 4/5 aboard Other times with the right co-pilot on board it's tremendous fun to run it around marker buoys as fast as possible when it will pull Gs turning in a heartbeat. Unlike most Zapcats, it has very low hours, has never been raced and more importantly never capsized. It is the full race spec version with the tuned Tohatsu, caged stainless prop, bladder fuel tank and extended tiller with steering damper. All of the race accessories make it an exceptionally safe boat with no electrics to go wrong. A ten year old can pull start it and the long tiller gives great leverage while restricting the engine from going to full lock if the steering is released. The prop guard helps protect anyone in the water. I have a RIB hence little used but it has provided some great memories as it can go places few other boats can, e.g. around Cobh Island, up the Blackwater and to many inaccessible beaches and coves along our coast, even the Aran Islands It weighs about 160kg fully rigged meaning it is effortless to tow behind even the smallest of cars. In fact two adults can just about lift it into the water, Galvanized trailer included. Selling after a health setback READ CAREFULLY: No swaps, part exchanges or sob stories.
