This is a well written & thoughtfully constructed book that attempts to pick 60 all time great films, 5 in each of 12 categories, it is interesting as it was written in 1973 before the summer blockbuster & every other film being a sequel became the norm, a good book for those that like the older films, and for those that don't why not try and catch the films it recommends, it may change your opinion. 252 pages. Discusses sixty of the greatest movies ever made, including Stagecoach, 2001, Citizen Kane, The Four Hundred Blows, On the Waterfront, All About Eve, La Strada, Easy Rider, and City Lights.
