Wooden Flute

Ideal for traditional Irish music, this Nach Mayer instrument from approx 1900, made from African blackwood has been reconditioned and plays perfectly. Although it plays perfectly at 440hz for A , on close examination, the flute has many cosmetic imperfections which reflect its age. Some rings/keys are not original. The flute is stamped on foot section GERMANY. The case is a firm leather, also very old and not the original case. An interesting antique instrument.
