Carl Zeiss Planar 1.4/50 T*

I am selling my Carl Zeiss Planar 1.4/50 T* C/Y lens with an adapter for Canon EF mount. Externally, the lens shows signs of usage, but optically it is in perfect condition: the glass is excellent, no fungus, no scratches, the coating is undamaged. The lens has not been opened or repaired. The aperture blades are in good condition, with a matte black finish, and free from scratches or oil residue. The lens produces sharp and contrasty images, with pleasant background blur. Compared to the Helios 44-2/44M 50mm f2, the Planar is noticeably sharper at f1.4 aperture and has much better contrast. The superb build quality typical of Carl Zeiss is evident, with no play, smooth focusing ring, and aperture clicks. With proper care, this lens will serve you for many years to come.
