Arguably the best starter lens for L mount, the one lens to rule them all. Purchased in December 2024 from CVP, excellent condition, boxed as new. The SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN ii | Art lens boasts a construction of 19 elements in 15 groups, including 6 FLD, 2 SLD, and 5 aspherical elements. Its inner focus system is compatible with high-speed autofocus, thanks to the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) technology. This lens is also compatible with Lens Aberration Correction, a function available on supported cameras, which offers various corrections and auto correction functionality (may vary depending on the camera model). The lens also features other useful functions, such as DMF and AF+MF, AF assist (for Sony E-mount only), Nano Porous Coating, Super Multi-Layer Coating, Water- and Oil-Repellent Coating, and an aperture ring with a click switch and lock switch. It also has an AFL button and a Focus Mode switch, and supports switching between linear and non-linear focus ring settings (for L-Mount only). The lens is dust- and splash-resistant, has a petal-type hood with lock, and is compatible with the SIGMA USB DOCK UD-11 (sold separately, for L-Mount only). It is designed to minimize flare and ghosting, has a 11-blade rounded diaphragm, and a high-precision, durable brass bayonet mount. The lens is also compatible with the Mount Conversion Service and is made in Aizu, Japan.
