1st owner. Have it since 2020 but had it in the box for 3 years after my daughter was born. So only 3 years of usage. I have the original box as well. Usually I split in 3 pieces when travelling. Selling because I found a different hobby. I have a mount to attach phone on the eyepiece. Easy to use. Description bellow Telescope N 130/900 Explorer EQ-2 with EQ-2-motor drive This size class offers an impressing efficiency for a beginner´s telescope: with the impressing diameter of 130mm, the mirror collects so much light (30% more than with 114mm diameter) that you can even see light Deep Sky objects highly detailed. The ring fog in the Lyra, for example, gets visible as a clear “smoke ring” or the Andromeda Galaxy appears in its full splendour as expanded celestial object. Concerning planet observations, you can reach magnifications up to 260x and the planet discs show up in impressing size. The EQ2 is a useful parallactic mounting with an outstanding price-performance ratio. Its stability provides some beautiful and enjoyable hours with your telescope under the impressing sky. It permits a fine adjustment in declination and right ascension axis and can be refitted with an electronic tracking motor drive (to compensate the earth rotation) which replaces exhausting manual tracking. The EQ-2 mount: This equatorial mount already offers the ability to align optics precisely with the North Star. The correct polar height or geographical latitude can be set for any observation location. Fine movements along the right ascension and declination axes allow objects to be adjusted and tracked with precision, whilst counterweights ensure the optics are accurately balanced. The aluminium tripod is extendable and height-adjustable, whilst a shelf provides space for eyepieces and other accessories. The second-smallest of the EQ mounts is extremely light, compact and fits into almost any travel bag. It is easy for any beginner to set up and can be used just as easily by children.
