1987 Toyota Hiace Campervan

Selling our beloved vintage Hiace camper. We’ve owned her for 7 years and she’s taken us all over Ireland multiple times without ever missing a beat. We leave the bed set up permanently and still have full use of the kitchen, making it much more practical than a rock-and-roll bed. * Three front seats * 5-speed manual with column gear shift * CVRT until July 2026 (becomes CVRT exempt from January) * Brown logbook * €56 annual road tax * Extensive maintenance including timing belt, fan belts, brakes and hoses, wheel bearings, radiator, coolant hoses, battery and four new exterior roof lights * Reliable 2.4D diesel engine that starts every time Serviced every year with thousands of euro spent on maintenance with receipts. Stored indoors every winter. Only done 500 miles since the last CVRT and service. The camper is comfortable, practical and fully functional inside. Mechanically it’s running beautifully and recently drove from Kerry back to Dublin without issue. The bodywork needs attention. Over the last 3–4 years most of the sills have been welded for the CVRT, but the repairs were patch jobs and now look untidy. Rust around some windows has previously been repaired but some areas now need redoing properly or cutting out and welding. I can send more pictures of the rust areas if you are serious. The fuel gauge also fluctuates, so I simply keep it topped up on longer trips. Selling because we can no longer take on the bodywork ourselves. Please only enquire if you understand this is mainly a rust restoration project. A fantastic van for someone with the skills to restore it and enjoy it for many more years.
